Rabbi
Aaron L. Raskin. Congregation B'nai Avraham has achieved
a strong presence in Brooklyn Heights under Rabbi Raskin's dynamic
leadership. Rabbi Raskin combines thorough knowledge of Biblical
and Rabbinic literature with a sensitive understanding of how
the members of the Congregation may best apply timeless Jewish
values to the circumstances of contemporary life. Rabbi Raskin
also sympathetically shares in the joyful and sorrowful events
in our members' lives. Rabbi Raskin is the author of Letters
of Light, a book in which he explores the esoteric meaning of

Rabbi Moshe Hubner. Rabbi Hubner is a popular scholar-in-residence
across the tri-state area. Possessing a comprehensive mastery
of Jewish law, Rabbi Hubner's personalized study program enables
students to strengthen their understanding and practical skills.
Rabbi Hubner co-authored a comprehensive commentary on the Talmud
Sheetah Mekubetzes, published in 1997 by Machon
Be'er Hatorah, in Hebrew. Rabbi Hubner is in the middle of other
works at the present time.
Rabbi Simcha Weinstein.
Rabbi Weinstein received a degree in Film and Photographic History
from the University of Manchester, England. Following graduation,
he was responsible at the British Film Commission for the production
and coordination of several hundred feature films throughout
the United Kingdom. Rabbi Weinstein now serves as Chaplain at
Long Island College Hospital, Pratt Institute, and Polytechnic

Rabbi
Michoel Goldin. The eldest child of ten, Rabbi Goldin was
born and raised in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn where
he was educated in Oholei Torah from Preschool to High School.
He then moved to France to start his Rabbinical studies. Later,
he was sent by the Lubavitch World Headquarters to Budapest,
Hungary along with nine other emisarries to spread Judaism and
teach in the first Jewish college that was reopened in Hungary
after WW2. Michoel was selected to take charge of all the Jewish
children's programs. The next year he moved down to Fort Lauderdale,
Florida where he spend the year learning in order to receive
his Rabbinical Ordination. Aside from his studies, he was appointed
to run the Shabbat program in addition to all other childrens
programs.Michoel spent numerous summers as counselor and later
on as program director. He resides in Brooklyn with his wife
Rivky and son Mordechai..
Levana (Blanca)
Madani. The shul's office manager, Ms. Madani, is a published
political researcher and an internationally-recognized expert
on Algeria. She is the author of several articles on Middle East-North
African issues, including Algeria: Stronghold of the Pouvoir
(MEIB, May 2001) and Hezbollah's Global Finance Network: The
Triple Frontier (MEIB, January 2002). After studying for
her Master's in Contemporary Arab Studies at Georgetown University,
she was the university's first Grant Administrator for the National
Resource Center on the Middle East, obtaining a $1.3 million
grant for the Center before she left to work as Research Assistant
to visiting Israeli professor Dr. Rachel Ehrenfeld, whose 2003
publication, Funding Evil: How Terrorism Is Financed and How
to Stop It quotes Ms. Madani's own research into the funding
of Hezbollah. Ms. Madani has also done extensive work as an editor
and web designer, the latter which was self-taught and learned
by the age-old trial-and-error method. She designed the websites
for the Congregation, Chabad of Brooklyn Heights and Kiddie Korner,
as well as Rabbi DovBer Pinson's Iyyun Institute and other sites,
religious and secular.
